Samantha Rosehill (GB) Featured

Samantha has been teaching for seven years and has aspired to be a primary school teacher from the age of five. She has taught across all three stages in primary school and led the Early Years in her previous school. Before studying Primary Education at university, she lived in Israel for a year teaching English to disadvantaged children and teenagers and volunteered for Magen David Adom. She spent many years as a Madricha running spring, summer and winter camps and social events for youth movements and organisations, and taught at Cheder for five years.
Sammy thoroughly enjoys embarking on new learning experiences, particularly through her love of travelling and working with children from diverse cultures and backgrounds. She has previously spent a summer volunteering in an orphanage in Ghana and spent much time fundraising in order to rebuild their homes and schools. Sammy also spent a year teaching in Australia and travelled throughout the country and to New Zealand to explore and embark on adventures; she enjoyedbungee jumping, sky divingand scuba diving there! Sammy started working at Alma in April 2016 and is also the Alma staff governor. She is incredibly excited about what the future holds for this brand new school!
