Reception had a lovely time doing buddy reading at Alma for the first time. They paired up with Year 5 and chose stories that they wanted to read. Year 5 read with them beautifully and encouraged them to follow the words as they read them. The older children enjoyed the responsibility of asking questions about the texts and Reception had such a fun time learning from the older children.
