Year 4 learnt about Swedish Jewry today, and had a special guest (Stephanie) come in and speak about her family's background. Year 4 also learnt about Raoul Wallenberg, a Swedish diplomat who saved around 100,000 Jews during the Holocaust, and about the Swedish Red Cross 'white buses' which also saved about 20,000 Jews. The children then created their own beautiful artwork for the exhibition in the hall. Each piece was creative and unique.
