Child Online Safety Workshop for Parents/Carers
What was the session about?
In May, Perryn Jasper, the Prevent Coordinator for Barnet, ran an online safety session for our parents/carers, focusing on digital resilience, parental roles and responsibilities, protecting against harm and the impact of the online world on children's development and wellbeing. The slideshow that Perryn went through, along with his notes and additional facts, is attached to your Alma weekly newsmail send from the office this week. The PowerPoint has all the videos and additional links for you to access but unfortunately is too large a file to be uploaded onto the website. The PDF is attached to this post.
The Barnet Prevent Team will be running sessions for Upper Key Stage 2 children about online safety and digital wellbeing this second half of the summer term.
Should you have any further questions about digital/online safety and wellbeing, please email the office FAO: Mrs Brickman.
