Mental Health with Miss Rosehill
Attached below this post is a ‘Thriving With Nature’ guide, written by The Mental Health Foundation (MHF) in collaboration with The World Wildlife Fund (WWF UK). It is packed with inspiration and information (ideas, stories, poems etc) to help people of all ages connect with nature throughout the year. The MHF conducted research during this pandemic and found that over 60% of adults found walking in nature a coping mechanism during this time. Nearly 50% of adults found that visiting green spaces enabled them to cope better. Whilst the research was carried out with adults, we all know how beneficial it is for children to spend time in outdoor spaces so this is an amazing resource for all our families.
