This week, we looked at different refugee artwork, keeping in mind the idea of integration, assimilation and immigration. In groups, we discussed how the different pieces made us feel and what our interpretation was of these and then shared them as a class. It was incredibly interesting to explore the different interpretations and also draw personal inferences from them too. The children are looking forward to continuing this work throughout their topic.
