School Lunches & Snacks
School Lunches
At Alma, we offer children freshly cooked, healthy food prepared onsite by our Caterlink chef and lunch team. Children have an option of a main meal (usually meat), a vegetarian option or a pasta/baked potato alternative. We also ensure that the food is suitable for the medical needs of all our children.
The current menu is below. Please contact our admin team, if your child has medical needs, if you would like your child to have a vegetarian meal or if you would like to select an alternative for a particular day. Please note that if alternative options are chosen these will be for both weeks.
Other than for medical reasons changes to lunch options can only be made at the beginning of each half term.
Snacks
Children in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 are provided a morning snack but are requested to bring in an afternoon snack in a named bag or pot. Children in other classes are requested to bring in named snacks for both morning and afternoon breaks. Due to serious allergies and for kosher reasons please be mindful of our approved list of snacks: fresh or naturally dried fruit or vegetables, plain corn or rice cakes. Please ensure that snacks do not contain dairy, nuts, peanuts or sesame. For further information on appropriate school snacks please see below.
